Privacy notice
Effective 5 November 2026 · Last updated 7 November 2026
SaySo is an Android conversation-copilot prototype by Kuara. This notice explains what happens to your information when you visit this website or request early access, and summarises how the prototype app treats conversation data.
The short version
- This website has no accounts, advertising or visitor analytics.
- If you request early access, we receive your email address, your consent and the request time — by email. There is no separate signup database.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, runs the spam check and delivers the request; Google/Gmail hosts our inbox.
- We use your email only for SaySo testing invitations and related early-access updates. You can withdraw at any time by writing to sayso@kuara.dev.
- The SaySo app listens only when you start a session, never stores or sends raw audio, and sends approved text only to an AI provider you choose.
1. Who we are
SaySo is developed by Kuara (“we”, “us”), an independent software studio. Contact for anything in this notice: sayso@kuara.dev.
2. Early-access requests
If you choose to request an invitation at sayso.kuara.dev, we receive the email address you provide, your consent to SaySo testing invitations and related updates, and the time of the request. Please use the Google account you use in the Play Store, so we can invite the right account. Never send API keys, passwords or conversation content through the form or by email.
The form is hosted and processed by Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for abuse, and Cloudflare Email Service delivers a notification to our Google/Gmail inbox, with your address set as the reply-to. We do not keep a separate signup database, create an account for you, or automatically add you to a test. Invitations are organised separately, and requesting access does not guarantee a place.
If you email sayso@kuara.dev directly instead, Cloudflare Email Routing forwards your message to the same inbox, and we receive your address and whatever you write.
3. This website
Cloudflare may process IP addresses, browser and device signals, and technical request information to host the site, prevent spam and keep it secure. Turnstile may use essential browser storage for its checks. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to serve them. We do not add advertising or visitor analytics, and our own code sets no cookies. These providers process information under their own privacy policies.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
- We do not use your information for advertising, profiling or unrelated marketing.
- We do not send automated emails to you from the form; any reply comes from a person.
5. Service providers
| Provider | Role | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare (Workers, Turnstile, Email Service and Email Routing) | Website hosting, spam and abuse checks, and delivery of requests and emails to our inbox | Cloudflare privacy policy |
| Google (Gmail, Google Fonts, Google Play) | Hosting the team inbox, serving the website’s fonts, and distributing test builds | Google privacy policy |
6. Security
The website uses HTTPS, a strict content security policy, server-side input and consent checks, Turnstile validation and rate limits. Email is not end-to-end encrypted, so please don’t send secrets. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Retention and withdrawal
We keep early-access messages in our mailbox to manage invitations and related follow-up, not in a separate database. To withdraw or ask us to remove your request, email sayso@kuara.dev. We will stop using your address for these updates and remove the request when it is no longer needed or when you ask, subject to any legal obligations. Providers may retain technical logs and backups under their own policies.
8. The SaySo app prototype
SaySo is an Android prototype. Its current design and handling of information are described below.
- Listening starts only when you start a session, stays in the foreground, and stops when you pause, end or leave the app. There is no background or hidden listening.
- Audio is processed in memory by the phone’s on-device speech service. The app does not create audio files or send audio to an AI model.
- In Gateway mode, only a bounded slice of recent finished text, which you approve for that destination and model, is sent to the AI provider you configure, under that provider’s terms. Kuara does not operate or receive that traffic.
- You may optionally enter an owner profile and import documents, including a CV. The app extracts supported document text on the device and stores selected context in app-private storage. CV autofill creates an editable draft; review and save it yourself.
- In Gateway mode, relevant profile or document excerpts are sent to your chosen AI provider only when the relevant source has been separately approved for that destination and model. Local mode processes selected context on the device. Imported documents are not uploaded in full by the app.
- You can edit or delete your profile and imported context in the app. Deleting an imported source does not delete the original file outside the app. Uninstalling removes the app’s local data; excerpts already sent to a provider are subject to that provider’s retention and deletion policies and cannot be recalled by the app.
- API keys are encrypted with Android Keystore and excluded from backups. Transcripts and suggestion cards stay in memory for the session.
- The app has no analytics. The phone’s speech service may use the network for its own setup and telemetry under Google’s terms.
Use SaySo only in conversations where everyone involved is comfortable with audio being processed. Consent requirements vary by place.
9. Children
SaySo and its early-access programme are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. International transfers
Website and early-access information may be processed by Cloudflare and Google in countries other than your own, under their applicable privacy and data-protection arrangements. If you choose a Gateway provider, your approved text and excerpts may also be processed wherever that provider operates, under its terms.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, withdraw consent, object, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For your early-access request or this notice, contact sayso@kuara.dev; for other questions, write to hello@kuara.dev.
12. Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, we will update the dates above and publish the new version at this address.
